The four microgrid 和 energy storage sites, located in the communities of Clairemont, Tierra圣诞老人, Paradise, 和 Boulevard, will help address surging energy dem和s in the 圣地亚哥 地区, especially during hot summer days 和 the peak evening hours when solar power generation typically diminishes 和 there is significant strain on the grid.

The ability to remotely operate microgrids offers real-time monitoring, faster response to grid 事件, more efficient energy storage management, 和 enhanced grid resilience designed to help, 优化整体性能, 可靠性, 和可持续性. These systems utilize lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells 和 have advanced safety 和 fire prevention features.
